The Ideology

A door outwards others could be a door inwards yourself is one of the motivations behind Travel for Peace. Travel for Peace is a travel association specialized in travels with purposes, travels that would open doors. The message of peace is at the center of all the journeys, otherwise the focus would be on peace processes, Nazism concentration camps, human right issues, creativity and culture.

Travel for Peace tailors the journeys according to the customer’s wishes, but has specialized itself in travels for the young people. The counselor group of Travel for Peace consists of teachers, buss drivers, travel guides and former prisoners of the concentration camps. Travel for Peace arranges courses and seminars relating war and peace issues.

The travels vary from a one day trips to the Grini museum in Oslo, and to 12 days trips through many countries. We keep our prices as low as possible in order to give the opportunity to much more young people to open some doors at an early stage of life.
